Smart Steps

Family Life Education for Couples and Children Forming Stepfamilies

Stepfamilies are different from first families:

Stepfamilies have to juggle visitation schedules - first families don't

Stepfamilies have to share children on holidays, birthdays and other special family occasions - first families don't.

Stepfamilies have family members who live with at least two sets of house rules - first families don't.

Stepfamilies hear "You can't tell me what to do. You're not my mom/dad!" - first families don't.

How to Find Dates and Times of Classes

Locate the calendar on the right side of you screen. Click on the month bar at the top of the calendar. When the calendar opens, click on the class of interest.

If the class you want is not shown on the month displayed or you wish to find more class dates, go to the grids above the calendar and click on the one captioned, "See by year." You may then scroll through the class schedule for 2009.
